Raghav Rajvanshy

Raghav Rajvanshy co-founded Rcoz after having observed unsanitary conditions in underprivileged communities during his visits to India and wastage of basic necessities like soap in the hospitality industry during his travels across the world. He is currently a senior at Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, California. He has enjoyed participating in a variety of different activities, exploring his interests in law, leadership, and community service. He hopes to use these interests and skills to take Rcoz to the next level. He has been an intern at Keesal, Young and Logan in San Francisco, a large global law firm, as well as at Fleet Management Limited in Hong Kong, one of the largest ship management companies with operations across the globe and CK-12, a silicon valley based education foundation. These experiences have helped him learn a lot about law and business management.

In addition, Raghav has been actively involved in his Boy Scout troop in which he has held various leadership positions. He has completed his Eagle Scout project in Tule ponds, an area used for flood control and is also a wildlife sanctuary for the many species. He has been a Troop Guide at the prestigious National Youth Leadership Training camp, where he was able to develop and practice his leadership skills. Raghav is also a member of his high school varsity debate team where he has mentored other club members.  In his free time, he likes to play table tennis and strum some tunes on the guitar. Raghav has recorded an original composition using his guitar, piano and drums.

Roopali Rajvanshy

Roopali Rajvanshy  co-founded Rcoz in 2011. She is currently serving as the Executive Director  for the organization. She is a seasoned Silicon Valley marketing professional with over ten years of experience at Cisco in San Jose, California, where she managed outbound and inbound marketing programs in their Security Business Unit. She was also responsible for  building alliances and leveraging web 2.0 technologies to promote and sell existing products as well as to launch new products. Before Cisco, Roopali managed the internal communications at IBM's Java Technology Center in Cupertino, California.

Roopali has been active in community service and giving back for many years. She has been the chairperson for TiECon’s  (World's largest conference for entrepreneurs) Women Forum  in 2011 & 2012. She is currently serving as the Vice President for Mission Possible, the PTA organization for Mission San Jose High School (rated as one of the top public schools in the nation). In the past, she has been president of National Reflections Program, an arts recognition and achievement program for students. She has also been a coach for elementary and high school teams for Odyssey of the Mind, an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities. Roopali holds a degree of arts in Sociology from Miranda House, Delhi University in India.

Nisha Dalal

Nisha Dalal has over twenty years of management experience in publicly held and venture capital backed global IT and BPO industries. Her experience includes raising capital, debt financing, merger and acquisitions. Over the last 8 years she has been an entrepreneur and has established two start-up businesses and grown their revenues rapidly.

Nisha has played pivotal roles in various corporate turnarounds and led mergers and acquisitions, and has extensive international experience in the US, UK and Asia.  She has been consulting with Extron Logistics, Software Next Door, and iRevo Multimedia Inc for the past two years. She has worked with these companies in the areas of business processes, financial planning and analysis, internal control and reporting. She has held board positions at iCelerate Technologies Inc., Omni Pros Ltd and Mega Renaissance Inc. In 2000, she co-founded iCelerate Inc., a venture-backed company focused on providing technology based business solutions to Fortune 1000 firms. In 2005, this was successfully merged with e4e; a Silicon Valley based business services outsourcing company. From 1993 to 2000, Ms Dalal was the CFO of ICIM International Inc., a Fujitsu joint venture and now publicly traded as Zensar Technologies. Prior to that Nisha was with Deloitte and Touche.Ms. Dalal has completed a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Bombay in India.  She also has the CPA and CMA Certifications.


Geetika Shukla

Geetika Shukla currently works as an individual donors and corporate outreach manager for a Berkeley, CA based non-profit Hesperian Foundation. She has been a non-profit professional for last eight years and has worked for various non-profits in Bay Area including American India Foundation (AIF), National Equity Project and APIA Health Forum. She has honed her domestic as well as international experience by working for both program/project as well as development departments of non-profits. Her specialties are international development, strategic planning, partnership development, project management, capacity building, advocacy, strategic communications, board relations and donor relations.


Prior to joining the non-profit sector she worked as a brand manager of personal care products after obtaining a business managment degree in India.She is graduate from School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University in New York with a master’s degree in Economic and Political Development.

Garima Thockchom

Garima Thockchom currently a VP of Marketing at Gale Technology. She is a high-tech engineering and marketing veteran with 17+ years of experience at VMware, Sun Microsystems, and NEC Electronics. Prior to Gale, Garima was the COO & GM, Virtualization and Infrastructure Segments, at Zeenova. Formerly, Garima was the Group Manager of Partner Solutions Marketing at VMware. She is a frequent speaker at industry events. Garima was named a "2011 Women of Influence" by the Silicon Valley Business Journal in recognition of her achievements in her field as well as her contributions to the community.

She has been the Marketing Chair for TiEcon 2010, (World's largest conference for entrepreneurs).

Mita Das Mayoraz

Mita Das Mayoraz is currently part of a core team at a startup, Palcycle. In her previous life, she has been an Atmospheric Scientist studying the effects of environmental pollution and developing models for control and mitigation in both the academic as well as corporate environments before shifting her focus to Social Entrepreneurship. She founded a mobile technology company, Cellucid Inc., to develop solutions for mobile information delivery in rural India including solving the text input challenge. She also co-founded a non-profit, ANKURA, to promote awareness of social issues in developing nations like India and bring social and economic equity to the under-privileged through utilizing existing resources and know-how available in their local communities. Mita has a PhD in Atmospheric Science from NCSU and MS in Management of Technology from EPFL, Switzerland.

Aaron Drew Smith

Aaron has a degree in mechanics from Wyotech technical college where he finished top of his class in 2011. Following his graduation, he held a variety of volunteer positions that included working for the Red Cross as a disaster safety instructor, and also helping out as a computer skills trainer for patrons of the Walnut Creek Library in Contra Costa County. He is currently finishing his undergrad in business finance at San Francisco State University, and holding the position of Vice President in the finance club FAME. He plans on continuing his career in the finance field, with hopes of focusing his financial planning experience towards sustainable business efforts around the Bay Area.

Izette Herrera

Izette Herrera just graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. She has worked in a couple of campaigns including Mayor Gavin Newsom's run for Lt.Governor of CA. and interned at a small consumer goods company, Yes to Ltd. in their Finance Department. Izette is currently a Financial Analyst at Epicor Software Corporation and hopes to attain her Certification in FP&A in the near future. Some day after completing her MBA, Izette would love to visit third world countries and understand the needs of the BOP population.
